Primary School Musical
Our Intermediate Phase learners wrote and performed their very own musical, bringing the magical story of Princess Tara and her chameleon Axolotl to life. A wonderful celebration of creativity, teamwork, imagination and confidence. We are so proud of every one of them!

Bows
Inspired by our ongoing study of the ǃKung, ǀXam, Nǁnǂe, Kxoe, Haiǁom, Ncoakhoe, Tshuwau, Gǁana and Gǀui — some of the peoples of southern Africa — one of our students took the opportunity to show her peers how she makes bows, sparking conversations about craftsmanship, hunting, and learning through doing.
San, Senses and Similes
Exploring restaurant-critic-style metaphors and similes, inspired by a real-life exploration of herbs and provoked by our study of some of the first known people groups in Southern Africa.
Evidence of Human Activity
Before asking the question, “How do historians and archaeologists use different kinds of evidence to learn about people from the Later Stone Age?”, we first explored our own space for evidence of human activity — and were surprised by what we found.
The Environment as Teacher
“What can we gather from our space?” A practical introduction to the ǃKung, ǀXam, Nǁnǂe, Kxoe, Haiǁom, Ncoakhoe, Tshuwau, Gǁana and Gǀui — some of the peoples of southern Africa known for their deep knowledge of foraging, observation, movement, storytelling, and relationship with the land.

Information and Communication Technology
As part of the ICT curriculum students are encouraged to build a structure – a bridge (min span of 20cm, max span of 30cm), for example – using recycled materials, using shapes to ensure that their structure is as rigid as possible.
