As part of their continuing exploration of ‘Creation Care’ our Foundation Phase students had the opportunity to listen and express their observations, thoughts and wonders in response to Boundless’ – Renovation (feat. Andy Flanagan and Lucy Crimble) – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JAN-pPxTK7o

Our Foundation Phase created their own mazes and wrote a sequence of instructions – using arrows or letters (R, L, FW, BW) – to program a robot to a specific destination.

A film crew recently joined us to capture our journey — from our beginnings and our commitment to quality, diverse, and affordable education, to the exciting next chapter: moving into our new (wood)land home.

As part of the ICT curriculum students are encouraged to build a structure – a bridge (min span of 20cm, max span of 30cm), for example – using recycled materials, using shapes to ensure that their structure is as rigid as possible.

After learning about cameras, we shared what we noticed about our still images, focused on the mouth, the eyes, the nose, eyelashes, lids, cultures, and the emotions we feel, to name a few.
