Soul Survivor Durban 2015
Category : Latest Blogs
Volunteers were able to engage in a range of activities which included building a house, planting a vegetable garden, helping at a holiday club, mapping the health needs of a local community, equipping a library and generally assisting with a variety of other jobs – including interacting with orphans and vulnerable children at a local children’s village.
In addition to the ‘work’ aspects of the trip there were lots of opportunities to have fun, enjoy good food together and visit one of Durban’s local game reserves to see giraffe, hippos, rhino, zebra, etc.
Its always good to have people from the UK visit us, and this trip was no exception – the range of activities, the size of the group, and the individual characters, all lead to a memorable two weeks that we look forward to repeating in the near future.
