Soul Action is offering a refreshed and updated Project Management Course this year. The course teaches staff members / volunteers how to successfully manage projects. The course teaches how to effectively plan, monitor, control and execute projects. Our trainer has adapted business model project management material for the South African Non-Profit sector. An essential part of the course are the case studies, individual coaching and a project visit.
NEW this year:
A new format where the course is divided into four parts:
1. Three theoretical sessions on Tuesday mornings during March
2. Then an individual coaching session of 1.5 hours by the trainer (Renske Fitzjohn) at the participant’s project location in April
3. A project visit to another project (of your choice) of a fellow course participant in April to learn from other projects
4. Three group sessions in May to integrate theory, practice and experiences
Group Session Dates: 4, 11 and 25 March, 29 April, 13 and 20 May
Time: 09-00 – 12.00
Venue: Grace Family Church, Umhlanga
Cost: R275* for 6 sessions incl. refreshments, course handbook, a visit from trainer for individual coaching session of 1.5 hours. Not included: visit to another project (transport to be provided by participants themselves). *Subsidies might be available under certain circumstances – please email Renske to apply for a subsidy.
