OUR VISION is to break financial bondage by assisting South Africans who are struggling with debts to realistically assess their financial situation and by negotiating suitable repayment programmes to assist clients to repay their debts while protecting their assets and enjoying a reasonable lifestyle.
OUR MISSION is to utilise our knowledge, experience and skills to combat over-indebtedness and to promote a culture of responsible financial management in our society by providing financial literacy training and counselling thereby reducing financial stress and setting consumers free from financial bondage.
As I am passionate about financial literacy and personal financial management, I would like to get involved in providing financial literacy and money management training to equip and educate people to manage their finances better and to be better stewards who are able to bless others.
I am also equipped to help set people free of financial bondage as I am a registered debt counsellor with almost 30 years banking experience.
We have been called to ‘preach good tiding to the poor’ and to help ‘set the captives free’. God has placed different gift in each of us. Let us use our individual gifts for Kingdom Purposes.
I am convinced that one of the enemy’s scheme to immobilise the Church is by keeping God’s People in bondage – especially in the area of personal finances. God does not want His people to be prisoners to debt (Romans 13vs8). Neither does He want relationships to be stressed because of over-indebtedness. Debt counselling, if properly undertaken, is an effective debt-relief mechanism which is endorsed by the government in terms of the National Credit Act 34 of 2005 and provides much needed help, relief and protection to the consumer whilst assisting credit providers to recover their debts and/or reduce bad debts.
